Right now, we have 230 dogs residing at our shelter, part of our capacity of 400 dogs. These dogs require constant attention, 24-hour care, and specialized medical facilities to manage their health and well-being. As a compassionate organization, we provide them with everything they need to live comfortably despite the hardships they have faced.
Latest UpdatesAt Dog Home Foundation, we don’t just offer a temporary place of refuge; we work tirelessly to ensure these dogs feel loved and cared for every single day. Our dedicated team spends festivals like Diwali with the dogs, ensuring they experience the joy and warmth of the season, just like any family. Unfortunately, Diwali is also a challenging time for our shelter. The number of rescue cases and accidents involving stray and abandoned dogs tends to rise sharply due to the chaos and loud noises caused by firecrackers, leaving more animals injured and traumatized.
With Diwali fast approaching, we are preparing ourselves for the inevitable increase in cases and the number of dogs needing our help. This period is especially critical for us, as we know the demand for medical treatments, food, and other necessities will surge. Injured and frightened dogs will need our immediate attention, and we want to be ready to provide them with the best care possible. However, we cannot do this without your help.
To prepare for the influx of dogs during the festival season, we urgently need additional resources, including medicines, medical supplies, and nutritious food. These dogs have already suffered enough, and we aim to make their Diwali safe, peaceful, and full of comfort. Your donations can help us arrange all the necessary facilities, ensuring that every dog we take in receives the best care and support during this challenging time.
By donating to Dog Home Foundation, you’re not just giving these dogs food or medicine—you’re offering them hope, love, and a second chance at life. Whether it’s a small contribution or a larger donation, every bit helps us save lives and bring happiness to these innocent souls. We urge you to join us in our mission to care for these dogs, especially as the festival of Diwali draws near. Together, we can make this Diwali a bright and positive experience for the dogs under our care, giving them the warmth and love they deserve.
Please donate today to help us prepare for the festive season and provide the best possible care for the increasing number of dogs who will need us this Diwali. Thank you for your generosity and support.
The time will vary based on the condition of the animal and the number of animal emergencies at that time. Our helpline call attendants send the ambulances to the most critical animals first, such as animals who are unable to walk, have fractures, are bleeding, etc.
If it’s taking time for the ambulance to reach, please know that it’s because there are more critical rescues required first.
If you can bring the animal to Animal Aid yourself this is greatly appreciated and will ensure fast treatment.
